Yes, the San Francisco International Gift Fair was mighty successful for Cookie and the Dude! So what does that mean to me? It means lots of headband making to fulfill the big bunches of orders that were placed. And it means great successes for my friend and coworker (and possible business partner) Helen. It means that Cale and I can keep buying organic peas for our goldfish. It means I have no time to start a band right now, still. It means that we can pay for our car insurance and some other stuff. It means I can get a facial tomorrow, as any proper bride-to-be should. So, yes, tgisfigf.

Damn, it was a good day.

A couple of days ago now, on 2/7 of 2007, I turned 27. That is not a golden birthday per se, but it is something good nonetheless. Many many thanks to everyone who called, sent cards, sent ecards, left voicemails, fed me food, took good care of me, and generally showed me love all the live long day! It was truly a marvelous birthday and I am quite a happy and content 27-yr-old version of myself.

We brought our shiny new (used) Volvo home last week! She is really a beaute and now I can "cruise the 'Fe" (as we used to say) at any time I please. Also, I don't have to take the bus with scary laughing guy or weirdo newspaper guy anymore. Skål to that!
