Punk Rock Haircut

I got my hair cut at Mama Buzz Cafe in Oakland last night. Megan, the style mistress of Punk Rock Haircut night, was radical and gave me a great new 'do. It was cold and rainy outside. Inside it was warm and I was drinking chai and telling Megan about how, when I was 15, we always talked about doing "punk rock haircuts" for free, and how I had this whole thing about my beauty shop on a bridge in Iowa. That's because once I died a German boy's hair pink on a bridge in Iowa and thought it was a proper locale for a beauty shop. Yep. My 1996 notebook says it's true:

Just in case you're wondering, my friend Mark was the one who came up with the thing about sex bread. It was his idea to have a bakery and put a girl in a bikini in the window who would be holding loaves of bread and, naturally, attract much business to the bakery. We were enterprising youth.

Okay, as soon as I don't have crazy 7 AM just-woke-up hair, I will take a pic just for you!
