When we were in Austin, we stayed near the Texas State School for the Deaf. I was suddenly thinking of it the other day and wondered, can one have, say, a southern accent to their sign language? Cale and I concluded overwhelmingly YES. Apparently Cale has been trying this theory out, as he has lost his voice and has been communicating with me via sign language, but I think his accent is pretty thick. Or maybe it's just that I don't know sign language. But I am getting very good at posing yes or no questions. It is rather interesting in it's own right. What would your sign language accent be?
When it comes to regional dialects, I have noticed that my use of the word "gnarly" has increased ten fold since moving to California. I find this to be both troubling and rather quaint.

Wait til you start using "Hella" and "Hecka"-distinctly NorCalâ„¢---then you WILL know you have made the transition.
Ahh! It's too late then, I have been fully converted.
